About JA. At Junior Achievement, we believe in "possible." Each day, we work to help young people discover what’s possible in their lives. We do this by helping them connect what they learn in school with life outside the classroom. We let them know it’s possible to invest in their future, to gain a better understanding of how the world works, and pursue their dreams. We show them that it’s possible for tomorrow to be a better day. Junior Achievement programs support grades K-12 standards of learning (SOLs) and have recently launched after-hours high school activities. The program focuses on three pillars: workplace readiness, financial literacy, and entrepreneurship.
About Venture Lab. Venture Lab is a space where ideas come to life. Housed in the Davis College of Business and Economics at Radford University, Venture Lab is designed to both connect students to innovative opportunities and counsel students as they formalize, develop, and strengthen innovation efforts. Notably, it’s also a critical building block for the entrepreneurship program within the business management major.
